我通过删除 ppa 存储库摆脱了 Ubuntu 20.04 上的错误消息。我花了很长时间才找到确切的命令参数，所以这可能对其他人有帮助:-)。
我使用了命令:

sudo apt-add-repository -r ppa:certbot/certbot

之后，以下命令不会产生任何错误:

sudo apt update
sudo apt-get update
